Part I: The KilimanjaroSept 26 - DepartureDepart from the United States.The first day is a long flight ladies! We will talk about snack and ideas to make it more enjoyable, but set your mind for a long journey that will be worth it in the end.

Sept 27- Arrival in KilimanjaroArrival: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).Accommodation: Kaliwa Coffee Lodge.Highlight: The views are absolutely stunning from Kaliwa, waking up to Mount Kilimanjaro majesty, this was our favorite spot to celebrate any special occasions when our family lived in Tanzania. Enjoy a legendary Tanzanian fresh breakfast, with coffee grown on the mountain beside your room, while taking in the iconic views of Mt. Kilimanjaro from a hammock before the clouds swallow her up in her misty veil. This is a relaxing day to start your journey through Tanzania.

Day 2

Sept 28 | Coffee &amp; WaterfallsActivity: Morning Coffee and Waterfall Tour. This is our mini Kilimanjaro "hike"! A lovely walk up through the jungle to see (and swim) in hidden waterfalls and then experience the "bean-to-cup" process in the foothills of the this famous mountain! The walk will take a few hours total. Transfer: Travel toward Arusha with Autumn and Juma.Accommodation: Rivertrees Coffee Plantation. Enjoy the lush grounds of this former coffee estate, watch several species of monkeys swing by at meal times and walk along the river paths in the evening to get yourself ready for sleep.

Sept 29 - Time for Safari Morning: Meet hiking and safari team join together.Cultural Stop: Visit the Cultural Heritage Center in Arusha for art, maasai and curios.Afternoon: Scenic drive toward the national park of Tarangeri.Accommodation: Sangaiwe Simba Lodge.Experience: Keep an eye on the swimming pool for visiting elephants and zebras, and watch for resident warthogs along the paths.

Sept 30 - Tarangire National ParkActivity: Full-day game drive in Tarangire National Park, famous for its massive elephant herds, graceful giraffes and ancient baobab trees.Accommodation: Sangaiwe Simba Lodge.

Oct 01 - Sleeping on the Crater RimMorning: Late morning start with local cultural stops and community visits to see the Maasai people.Transfer: Drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.Accommodation: Hhando Coffee Lodge.Highlight: Sunset views over the crater rim. Watch for elephants on the ridge and enjoy the vibrant birdlife (but remember: don't feed the baboons!).

Oct 02 - The Ngorongoro CraterActivity: "The Circle of Life" Crater Tour. Descend 2,000 feet into the caldera for high-density wildlife viewing, including the Big Five. This is a day jam-packed with animals on either side of your safari vehicle, so be ready to be amazed! Evening: Return to Hhando Coffee Lodge for your final night in the highlands of Tanzania.

Oct 03 - Stone Town ImmersionTravel: Transfer to the airport; fly 1 hour to Zanzibar (ZNZ) the island of spices.Tour: Private Stone Town Tour led by Godfrey. Explore the winding alleys, historic architecture, and the deep soul of the island. Then retreat to your relaxing beach front views and tropical breezes on Island Time.

Oct 04 - Island LeisureActivity: Beach Day. Total relaxation on Zanzibar’s white sand beaches and turquoise waters.

Imagine exploring places where some of the oldest known civilizations in the world were birthed.Are you ready to see the Pyramids with your own eyes? Ready to weave in and out of colorful old loud markets? Ready to experience the sights, sounds and tastes of an ancient and unique culture?Let's explore Egypt together!We'll enjoy three nights in Cairo, staying in the liviley downtown area where we can enjoy the fun vibe of modern Egypt and eating all kinds of foods! From our base in Cairo we'll ride camels in front of the Pyramids at Giza, and visit the Sphinx and the Grand Egyptian Museum. This Grand Egyptian Museum is one the biggest museums in the world, housing all the artifacts of King Tut in one place, including over 5,000 artifacts! Next, we'll fly around an hour and a half to two hours to Aswan and visit the Philae Temple and the unfinished obelisk before boarding our serene Nile Cruise that we'll call home the next three nights. All meals on our cruise are included and delicious! During our days on the Nile we'll enjoy adventures with our local guide when we disembark from our river cruise ship. We’ll enjoy Luxor and its famous Luxor and Karnak Temples. We'll also get off the beaten path for a memorable village visit that we arrive to by horse, donkey or donkey cart.We'll end our cruise at the Valley of the Kings. There we'll explore Hatshepsut's Temple and Memnon Colossi before we have our one hour return flight back to Cairo.On our final day in Cairo we'll have a wonderfully fun day visiting the Salah El Din Citadel, the Alabaster Mosque and Khan El Khalili Bazaar.For almost the entirety of our trip we will have a local guide who is an experienced Egyptologist. He's been in tourism decades and is honest, kind and fun to work with.We'll also enjoy private transportation for our group when possible.The only thing better than experiencing Egypt may be doing it with a group of fun adventurous women!

This will be our sixth year hosting a&nbsp;Christmas&nbsp;market trip to these amazing cities, except this year we have one exciting change! Instead of staying in London, we will stay outside of London in a sweet town at a pub hotel.Travel Coach Jami is ready to show you all these sweets destinations offer especially at Christmastime! We’ll have an overnight flight from DFW to Paris and begin our trip with two nights enjoying the beauty of Paris during the holidays. In Paris we'll see the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, eat crepes in the Latin Quarter, wander through Montmartre and enjoy a number of amazing Christmas markets around Paris (Tuileries Garden, Notre Dame or St Michel (usually one opens earlier than the other), Saint Germain des Pres, Abbesses).By train we'll next head to Bruges, Belgium for two nights taking in all the quaint charm this beloved city offers. This is often women's favorite stop of the trip. There are two Christmas markets to enjoy in Bruges and a precious historic town to explore. AND we'll have plenty of opportunities to eat chocolate, fries, waffles and beer.After that, we'll enjoy a night in Brussels, Belgium experiencing some of its&nbsp;Christmas&nbsp;markets and famous sites. We'll stay in the heart of Brussels where we can easily experience large Christmas markets on either side of our hotel. The Christmas light show on the facade of the Grand Place is also a magical memory each year!Finally, after taking the train from Belgium, we'll love our final two nights in England, where there will be more&nbsp;Christmas&nbsp;markets to enjoy. We will stay near the countryside so we can take our private transportation to neighboring towns and villages. Once it's announced who will be hosting markets the weekend of our visit we can plan an exact strategy. We'll love the local crafts and exploring sweet English streets and jolly atmosphere at Christmastime! This trip will include a lot of walking and many of the streets will be made of uneven cobble stones. As we are moving around a lot it will also be necessary to pack light for this journey and you'll need to be able to carry your luggage&nbsp;and lift it on and off multiple trains.
