January is the perfect time to escape the cold and enjoy the pleasant weather of welcoming Thailand with Travel Coach Jami!

We'll fly Emirates Airlines on Thursday, January 14 at 11:00am direct from DFW Airport to Dubai, where we'll enjoy a fun stop-over afternoon for a quick taste of Dubai. Later that evening we'll fly directly to our beautiful beach town of Krabi, Thailand.

Arriving on January 16, at 11:00am, we'll have the day to relax or explore the beaches, nature and great food around us.

The next day, Sunday, we can absorb our local beaches more, get a spa treatment and/or go on a stunning and challenging hike through jungle and caves to Tiger Cave Temple, a sanctuary for a group of Buddhist Monks. For those with energy left that evening, we'll visit a local lively night market as well.

Monday will be our island hopping day! We will go by long boat to 4-6 islands, having time to enjoy each stop and relax or snorkel and swim. These islands are the picturesque locations we think of when we dream of Thailand.

On Tuesday we will go into the forest and enjoy peaceful time at an elephant sanctuary where we'll get to observe elephants closely as they walk and bathe and we'll learn all about these beautiful creature in their local habitat. It will be an unforgettable experience!

Then on Wednesday we'll take the short flight to Bangkok and drive to Hua Hin, another beautiful beach town. That evening we plan to enjoy a tuk tuk tour around Hua Hin to see it's most loved sites.

Thursday we can either relax at the beach, enjoy a spa treatment or Thai cooking class or hike in the beloved Khao Sam Roi Yod National Park. This marine national park has beaches, caves and trails to enjoy! That evening we'll explore the Tamarind Market to see and try all kinds of delicious street foods.

We'll head to the Damnoen Saduak floating market on Friday with a local guide see vendors sell foods and crafts on boats. Of course we'll also visit the nearby Maeklong Railway Market and marvel as the market adapts quickly when the local train comes through the stalls on the active tracks.

That evening we'll explore the Cicada Night Market in Hua Hin, where we can buy homemade handicrafts- and of course, try more great food!

Our final day we'll drive to Bangkok where we'll enjoy a guided city tour, seeing Wat Traimit Temple that has the largest golden Buddha in the world, the famous Thai flower market and Wat Pho, the Temple of the Reclining Buddha. That evening we'll fly back to Dubai for a short layover before our final flight back to DFW Airport. We'll arrive Sunday morning, January 24.
